Tico Mex - Golfito

Oh my goodness this was my personal favorite restaurant in Pavones. I wish we had stayed longer to come back, but we will certainly visit again on our next trip. BEST piña colada I’ve ever had in my life. The father wasn’t sure they could make one, but the son assured me he could, and they made it with love. I ordered the Casado with Mexican meat and it was so delicious. Our group ordered burritos biggest burritos I’ve ever seen! I’d highly recommend stopping in here for dinner! There’s also some cute cats that hang out with you on the patio.

Great little place. Family run business. Some say it’s expensive and perhaps but coming from an island I haven’t found anywhere on the face of the earth I can call expensive. Burritos and tacos on the beach after a surf all day everyday.

Local restaurant with great Tacos (take Mexican meat ones), very friendly owners, clean and top location.

This has got to be a hidden gem. Me and my buddies found this while staying in Pavones. We were there for three days and all three days I ate the fish tacos! They were some of the best fish tacos I have ever had. My other buddies had the burritos which were good too. Please stop by here. Don't forget to bring your cash.

Best Mexican food around! The food is freshly made, even the tortillas! Highly recommend the quesadillas
