We stumbled upon Rufus on a Google search and decided to stop in for lunch. Despite it being only 30 minutes before closing time, we were warmly greeted and allowed to choose our own seats. I ordered the BBQ sandwich while my companion opted for the BBQ plate. The BBQ was tasty, although it seemed to be missing a certain something. Quaint little restaurant, friendly staff, good food. Ate there tonight, had the Rufus burger. Recommending to my elderly client as a quiet restaurant and to others for the excellent food.
Stopped by here on the way to Mt Airy last week. The food was really, really good! The staff were friendly and utilized sanitary practices. Highly recommend this restaurant!!

Great place, great people, great food deffonitly worth stopping in!
These people are the nicest!!! I mentioned the really cool older fire truck that we spotted tucked behind the restaurant. My husband is a full time firefighter just outside Raleigh. The owner’s must all be affiliated with firefighting as well.
