Tasty Shoppe - Goldsboro

I had a cheeseburger today, and it was absolutely delicious! It was a bit on the pricey side, but it was definitely worth it.

This is the best food I’ve ever had. If you don’t enjoy it for some reason, maybe you should just stay home and cook, because it seems like you’re someone who struggles to find happiness.

In the past, when this establishment was known as Tastee Freeze, it offered some of the best food around. The hot dogs, burgers, and especially the ice cream were simply unbeatable! I remember there were some older ladies who prepared the meals, and it's a shame they aren't around anymore. I'm not sure if the decline in quality is due to changes in ownership, management, or staff, but the food is truly disappointing now—nothing like it used to be. The burgers have an unappetizing taste reminiscent of soy, and the fries are typically undercooked, often mushy in the middle. The hot dogs are just okay, but the ice cream is no longer the creamy delight it once was; it tastes more like ice milk, and trust me, ice cream connoisseurs can tell the difference. On top of that, their prices have significantly increased. If they don't improve the food quality, they risk losing even more customers. This place has been a beloved fixture in Goldsboro for years due to its great food and ice cream. I really don’t understand why a successful venue would try to change something that was already wonderful. If this trend continues, there may not be many options left for those seeking delicious food at a reasonable price.
