First of all, the Hostess was the best, and she was pretty too!!!! She helped with me with my order and it was the right decision, by far. Had the Ribs, Mashed Potatoes and Collards. Starting eating before I got back to the hotel!! Everything was delicious!!! She informed me that I needed to come back on a Friday and try the Seafood. You can bet I will!!! They also have daily specials and you cannot beat the price!!!... View all feedback.
What Nicole Herzog doesn't like about Dee's Diner:
This restaurant serves old food daily.Same food you eat one day of the week will be the same old food you eat the next.I know a cook there and I was told not to eat anything befor 5 pm.They work there and will only eat food off the grill that has to be prepared right then.Have you tasted the bacon,YUCK,how can bacon be old at 7 in the morning?! Eat okay, waiters complain to be tired and ready to go 2. Waiters spilled tea on us and fall dirty inconveniences n lap on Sunday best (clothes). Waiters address you as Hun, Sugg, Sweetie etc.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted to sit where we moved forward. the server (a young female medium) took our beverage food order ordered. my pancakes, wow, were the roundest I've ever served. so delicious. the breakfast was amazing. I recommend dee’s in goldsboro, nc. all.
It was good. Nothing was remarkable at all. The service lasted for a while because it is one of those who sit on themselves? Places, so if you don't see that you're going into, you need to get your server down. Everything else was? Okay.
Going to Dee? Diner in Goldsboro, NC, I didn't know what to expect. Of course this was my first dinning experience. The restaurant reminded me of a cafeteria without the buffet. There were weekday specialties with other options on the menu. The service was My meal consisted of Wednesday?s special: Baby Back Ribs (Pork) served with Yam Soufflé and sown salad along with a dress of sweet tea. The ribs were very delicate and tasty; the Yamsufflé could have been a little hotter and sweeter, as well as some of the sweet potatoes could have been smashed more; the salad tasted good. My strawberry cake was amazing. Overall, my dinning experience is good. I'd visit again.
Dee's Diner is great food, and a great atmosphere. It's good Southern food with the great Southern hospitality that everyone always talks about. Everyone knows everyone there, and if you don't, then you will. You're made to feel at home with some good home cooking made with love. You don't find many places like this anymore, and it's unfortunate. Dee's is great and I can't wait to go back for some of their specials.
