Corks Restaurant - Golden

Delicious King salmon dinner one night. Tasty parpadille pasta dish another night. Salad, soup, crab cake appetizers all wonderful. Service was professional, prompt and friendly. Conveniently located at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.

Had two meals here last week. Four of us managed to try most stuff on the menu. Honestly, everything was brilliant! I recommend it all, haha. Elk short ribs and the lobster pasta were the winners on the days. But it's all fantastic. Also was surprised to have really well made cocktails and a good wine list. An absolute must-eat in the area.

This is a small but tasteful restaurant in the walk-out basement of the Copper Horse Lodge. The menu is eclectic and defines any real style category. Lots of local craft beer are available. The elk ribs were the entree "hit of the night."

We had an absolutely lovely experience at Corks on New Years Eve! First class professional service at better restaurants is sometimes a let down, certainly not here! Carla was knowledgeable, polite and courteous and knew exactly how to treat the customer, Kudos! The food was exceptional with some very interesting combinations that made the experience even more fun and delicious! The Chef was very accommodating for a couple of special request and the wine list was very good. If your on the mountain, or even in Town, we highly recommend Corks. (ask for Carla)

We were staying at the hotel above it, so we chose it more out of convenience than anything else and were pleasantly surprised!The short, but exquisite menu was great. Great service and beer/wine selection.I had the beef tenderloin and my husband had the boar. They were both amazing!And the bread with truffle butter was a great appetizer.
