Was Erica A at Good Luck Dim Sum a mag?
Super yummy dim sum and very SF authentic! They also have egg white egg tarts which I've never seen anywhere else before. Be warned though, they do run out very quickly so if you don't get here early in the morning, you won't be able to try them. The food is all delicious and the prices are great. Highly recommend trying if you're in the area or even making the trek out to Richmond to try it! View all feedback.
What Lilly dislikes about Good Luck Dim Sum:
It’s cheap but I thought it would be good cause the ratings were good but I was wrong. BBQ pork buns were ok, but the filling was super slimy and sweet! Thought they gave me something else but it was bbq pork! Other dim sum places that sell this bun isn’t usually sweet so I thought that was weird ??Food: 1/5 View all feedback.

The dim sum here is pretty good! Just a heads up, they only accept cash. There was a long line, but it moved quickly. This was our first time here and we had a funny misunderstanding. The menu said 3 for $3.60, so we thought we could choose 3 items for that price. Turns out, each selection comes with 3 pieces. We ended up getting way more food than we intended, so be careful if you're new here. We ended up spending over $80, but it's fine since we can enjoy it over the next few days and support a local Asian business.
I highly recommend trying this restaurant, even though they currently only offer takeout. There is something special about receiving a container filled with a variety of dumplings, still steaming hot. Their congee is also outstanding, especially when paired with their delicious breadsticks.
Be advised you do need to pay in CASH. If you don’t have cash, there’s an atm down the street. Anywho, we drove 6 hours down to get this food. No lie, this place is worth the drive and calories. You know it’s going to be Great when you see a line out the door-It’s super affordable especially for Bay Area prices. Has the classic pink boxes: bao, shu mai, har gow. If you grew up with Dim Sum, you won’t be disappointed. Love seeing family owned businesses
Great place to pick up some Dim Sum to go after Church. No eating onsite just take out only. I believe its cash only but make sure you got a some Lincoln's jacksons in pocket. ; There's a line out on sidewake., but it moves quickly! Enjoy! Oh btw .. store is on Clement St between 8th Ave 9th Avenue right across from Steins sports bar grill.
This is an Inner Richmond institution. Go early to beat the line and for fresh dim sum. $10 exactly, cash only. Steamed BBQ pork buns and shrimp dumplings are delicious.
Nestled in the Inner Richmond, this beloved dim sum spot stands as a testament to authentic San Francisco flavors. Guests rave about the impressive menu, highlighted by steamed BBQ pork buns, shrimp dumplings, and unique egg white tarts, often selling out quickly. Operating on a cash-only basis, this bustling venue is perfect for takeout, as indoor dining is currently unavailable. Despite the potentially long lines, they move swiftly, ensuring a fresh, flavorful experience. Mount your appetite and venture here for a delicious, wallet-friendly feast, making it a must-visit for both locals and travelers alike.

I don’t as here early Saturday morning and the long lines I heard about haven’t started yet. My pork sui mai was acceptable, nothing to write home about. The beef sui mai tasted a little artificial, doesn’t taste like beef? The dim sum is reasonable here, but not really that fresh or good? It is nice they have few ingredients bales in the back so you eat it there if you want. Also the bathroom is a bonus.
Potstickers are sensational. Shrimp and chive dim sum and steamed (not baked) bbq pork buns are also very good.
Went here on a Friday afternoon. They worked through the line quickly, we got a great seat, and indulged on the tastiest dim sum. Great prices and quality.
Delicious and affordable, what more can you ask for?!
Some options are pretty heavy. Slightly more expensive and less good than other options in the city for the same thing.

Went here to get some good dim sum! Line was long but moves fast very cheap and tasty
Long wait and average tasting. Soft serve looked good--might try yhat next time.

The shrimp har gow are well-made, and the shrimp and chives dumplings are also solid choices. The steamed BBQ pork buns come highly recommended—they're generously filled! The fried taro puffs are perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. Lastly, the egg tarts are wonderfully flaky and rich in flavor!
Basically, your dim sum experience here will depend highly on if they’ve just brought out fresh things. The first time I came here everything was super fresh and delicious. The shrimp dumplings were very full of shrimp and the skin was very thin and QQ. Baked pork bun also very good, warm, and fresh!Second time I came here around 1 pm on a weekday everything was cold and not fresh. Cold dim sim is horrible it would only have tasted good if I took it home and re steamed the dumplings. The egg custard tart was also cold and not fresh.
