What Matt P doesn't like about The Buffalo Bill Museum And Grave:
You know when you're a kid and your family stops at a random history pitstop which happens to have some pretty cool history? This is it, but don't overstay your welcome. Despite what your historian companions must say. Their chili dogs were stacked, come hungry! View all feedback.
Located on Lookout Mountain near Golden Colorado. The museum is worth the $5 fee. It has a lot of historical items that belonged to Bill Cody and tells his story.Just steps away is his and his wife's grave with markers.Well worth the drive and time. The views of Denver and Golden are awesome too.
What a wonderful walk back into history. The museum is a wonderful 1st class facility full of so much information. Then when you step outside, The view is stunningly Beautiful. It takes your breath away. And I don't mean High elevation ? wise. Between the observation deck looking down on Denver and being surrounded by the Mountains ?️. And if that's not enough, go to the restaurant and grab a Bison burger or a bowl of Bison chili, and finish that with some Ice cream. After you have enjoyed all of that, I then suggest walking into the awesome gift shop. Finally when you walk out of the gift shop take the small hike up to Buffalo Bills Gravesite. What a wonderful time we had.
Really enjoyed our visit! You'll want to spend at least an hour looking through the exhibits a lot of historical Buffalo Bill items. But would start with the short video presentation that nicely outlines his somewhat complex life. A very nice gift shop, packed with a lot of souvenir items, but at reasonable prices.Price for entry: $4.00

Six star views of the fourteeners and downtown Denver. Great place to visit. The road up and down are not to be taken lightly. Speed limit is 20mph and lot of uphill bikers. Share the road. Easy connections to i70 and us 6.
