Dining at this restaurant is quite enjoyable. I particularly liked the turkey slices, which had a lovely smoky flavor. The side dishes were satisfactory, though I found the greens to be a bit too salty for my taste. The atmosphere is calm, quiet, and feels very homely.
I recently visited Moe's while on a short business trip in Colorado, where I was staying at TownPlace Suites just two blocks away. What a delightful discovery! The smoked ribs were incredibly tender and flavorful, practically falling off the bone. The smoked brisket was equally delicious and juicy. However, the standout for me was the marinated slaw. As a coleslaw enthusiast, I can confidently say it was the best slaw I've ever tasted! While the selection of craft beers could use some improvement, pairing my meal with Dale's Pale Ale turned out to be just right. The restaurant's interior is inviting, featuring plenty of dining tables and a classic wooden bar that overlooks the kitchen.
I believe this location has permanently closed, as there's a "For Sale" sign on the building. I'm not surprised; it always seemed to struggle with business. I used to enjoy picking up smoked wings (which were absolutely delicious) to take home on "Broncos Sundays," but whenever I went in, there would usually only be one or two other customers, if that. I'm not sure why it didn’t attract more people. The location wasn’t ideal, but it wasn’t terrible either. It had a nice sports bar atmosphere, good food, and the other Moe's location in Lakewood seems to be thriving.
The experience was fantastic, and the food was delicious. Plus, if you order larger desserts, you receive a discount! Overall, it was a great dining experience.
This fantastic little spot serves the best brisket I've had in Denver, along with affordable prices that reflect the generous portions. It’s a perfect place to relax, enjoy delicious food, and spend quality time with friends and family. The waitstaff are incredibly friendly and treat you like family, going above and beyond to make you feel at home. Great job, everyone! Keep up the fantastic work!
