Amir Grill - Golden

The chicken shawarma and chicken kebabs were absolutely delicious! The meat was well-marinated and tender. The sampler plate is a fantastic option to try all their dips, which are also delightful. The pita is incredibly fluffy and among the best I’ve ever had! This place is a great discovery for Denver. The only downside was that the falafel was a bit dry.

I've been visiting Amir Grill for several years now, and the main reason is their in-house baked bread, which is freshly made with every meal. The style of the bread has evolved over the years; it used to be a large, thin, round bread, then transitioned to two small, thin rounds, and recently, it has become a small, thick round bread. While all versions have been delicious, I personally prefer the thin bread, especially when paired with hummus or baba ganoush. The food is comparable to other Middle Eastern restaurants in the Denver area, although the prices are slightly on the higher side. There's typically only one person working in the front, but regardless of who it is, the service has always been efficient.

The pita bread here is the best I've ever tasted! Everything else was fantastic too. We ordered the Syrian meat platter for two, and it was a generous portion. I highly recommend Amir’s!
