Wasdee Surfers Thai - Gold Coast

I thought the green curry and rice was delicious and a good portion size. The waiter provided a big bottle of ice cold tap water. Good wifi.As noted in other reviews, the price was a little bit higher than other similar Thai restaurants which is the only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 stars. But still a good experience.

I am vegetarian and my friends all eat meat, the menu catered for all of us. Very well priced, large amount of food and excellent staff.

This Thai restaurant use to be really amazing Thai food, just like in Thailand but unfortunately it's not a patch on what it use to be. Apparently it has changed ownership since we were in Qld last which explains the decline in food. The menu is very basic

Very friendly staff and very efficient. The food was nice and spicy. Thoroughly recommended as the food is delicious indeed.

We chose to eat here because it looked authentic from the street. Customer service was good and fast. We ordered a red Thai curry which they stuffed up and bought us a green curry and we also got a beef massaman and that was awful. The meat was thinly sliced (like stir fry meat) and wasn't cut into large cubes and wasn't tender like it's meant to be. The green curry was also a soup, way too runny. The total cost for those 2 dishes, a rice, curry puffs and 2 cans of coke was $90!!! Absolute rip off. Not authentic tasting at all.
