Found this great little restaurant after searching trip advisor. The staff were friendly and helpful. We tried the crispy pork with basil and loved it. Perfect amount of heat / spice. Fresh and tasty. Quick and very reasonably priced. Would definitely return and recommend. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Thai Republic:
they put the special price for lunch at the entrance and then extra 50 cent on the counter when paying by card. and she had no sign for it. show only the 'minimum $20' at the theke, and I said I didn't know you should know before and the dame said that everyone knew it! only 50c up! .green curry was good, but this was terrible View all feedback.
Very nice, clean and fast service. Would definitely recommend the place! Ordered Tom Yum Seafood hotpot, large rice and papaya salad and it did us (wife I) justice.
It was a great dining experience from yesterday evening. Me, my sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew had a good time and the food wasn't that bad, but my red curry sauce was a little bit watery and too spicy adding more chilli. But it's alright, although they were professional, lovely and polite.
Authentic Thai on the gold coast. Step inside and feel like your in Thailand. Asking for Thai hot got us great spicy meals.
Unique triangular shaped restaurant, decorated with 2 elephants and an assortment of bamboo wall decorations make an interesting decor. Service was quick and friendly, menu was extensive, prices were reasonable. We had the Pineapple Rice with Prawns and the Moo Gob (chicken with fried noodles). Both were delicious. Recommended.
Authentic delicious Thai food right around the corner of surfers paradise, amazing service too!
