Summer and Spice - Gold Coast

We discovered this restaurant while using a Groupon a little while back. The portions are generous and the food is beautifully presented. It's a lovely place.

I work nearby and a few of my colleagues and I were searching for a lunch spot. We decided to try the lunch special menu and were pleased with the fresh and delicious food. The service was basic, but the restaurant is a great little spot for a work lunch.

Came here with a groupon deal, booked online but didnt seem to be expected. Was a nice meal although my first choice wasnt available because they had had a busy night previously, same excuse given for not having the juice we wanted too. Was difficult to find it as gps only found the mall not the shop which we had to park a few streets away and walk in the rain.

We visited this resturant with a groupon deal. The food was definetly worth what we paid for the groupon but it wasnt good enough for us to return again and pay full price. We ordered two curries a mussaman and panang and they both pretty much had the same flavour of sauce. Thai is one of favourite foods and we know that they shouldnt taste the same. The service was terribly slow considering there were only 2 tables being used at the time, we asked for water for the table several times and ended up getting it ourselves. The staff walk in and out of the restuarant constantly and dont seem to value customer service. Overall we are happy for what we paid however not worth full price. There are much better thai places out there.

This place is vile. We came in December and they had a great chef and service (owner was away) as the reviews below suggest. Well, now the owner is back and she's awful! The chef quit (understandably) and the owner can't cook and is very rude. There is no buffet here (never has been) and when we ordered a beef mussaman curry (off the menu) she told us they only cook chicken. Ridiculous. DO NOT COME HERE. Find the chef who left and go there.
