SoPo Dining Room - Gold Coast

I met Cfor lunch, we had the vague idea of walking to Lygon St along Grattan St.

Nasi Lemak sells nasi lemak without the chili and expects you to pay extra $1 for itThe place is small, so is the menu.

Visited Sopo during their steak night, absolute little gem! Friendly service, great steak and a nice selection of wine.

We came to this restaurant for dinner with our family of six adults on a Saturday evening. It wasn't very crowded, but I believe that once more people hear about this place, it will become very popular. The food was excellent! I ordered the lamb mezze plate (which could have used a slice of lemon or something tangy) and my partner had the beef burger and chips. I have never said this before, but those were truly the best chips I have ever had. My sister ordered the sticky pork neck and I was envious of her dish, it was absolutely delicious. The papaya salad on the side was also amazing.

The food here was amazing!! We had mushroom arancini balls and the lamb! Everything was amazing! The drinks were refreshing and the staff was friendly :)
