Master Sushi - Gold Coast

I visit Master Sushi at least twice a week the food is amazing the absolute best sushi you will find on the Gold Coast. The sushi train is continuously filled, so its as fresh as u can get. The grilled salmon nigiri is made to die and order spicy bbq pork with rice as a meal is always a winner. Congratulations to the owners and employees are incredibly friendly and happy. They will certainly take care of their customers.

First time visiting Master Sushi. I didn’t have a great first impression walking in as it looks quite outdated. The sushi is overpriced and wasn’t pleasant at all, infact I have to say the chicken was gross. A positive is the service, it was good. I wouldn’t go back.

Average food, average service, average vibe. The place is super run down, the benches were sticky like they had not been cleaned properly, floors were dirty. Utensils and plates are cheap plastic and tacky. Sushi from the train didn't look or taste fresh, there wasn't alot of variety, and for some reason it was mostly empty of food like the chef had forgotten it was even there. I didn't see a waitress once, there were clearly seen out the back gossipping. Overall, not a place I will be returning to.

Not sure how this place managed to get anywhere close to it 's current rating, but I am disappointed in my experience. I ate there on the weekend and the food was very average, but not only that, I have had food poisoning as there is nothing else I 've eaten until now that would set me off. I should have trusted my gut , because immediately upon walking in the place looks extremely run down, holes in the walls, yucky color scheme (lime green and red dining tables)., blu tacked menu items etc. And speaking of the train, the selection was very limited and the train was very short, which I thought was rather silly. I used to eat here many years ago, and never recalled it being as poor quality as it is now. Please give it a much needed reno and put some life into it.

Average food. Very run down decor.. But i have never before been asked to come and pay for my meal before i finished. Yes it was jusr before closing time. But 5 more minutes and we would have been finished. Unfinished food and drinks on the table. Paid and left. I will never go back!
