Black Angus Bar and Grill - Gold Coast

My husband and I visited this restaurant for a wedding anniversary lunch this week The restaurant was dirty old tissues or napkins on the floor , questionable stains in the black tablecloths and staff uniforms not greatWe had the lunch option - very basic tiny amount of calamari and two prices of Vado. Bread with rock hard butterThankfully my gnocchi was delicious but partners salmon over cooked and yuck Very disappointing as location is great we will definitely not be back Service lacking although only three tables and four to five staff

Very nice place with great service. In fact, this was the best part besides the great food. It was obviously a locals place and after we searched on trip advisor and found a place that said it was open on a Monday night only to be disappointed we came across, Black Angus. So glad we found it as we will come back regularly now for our weekly business meeting dinner (That's just me and the wife as we have joined Barefoot Investor Club and it required a dinner every week!!) that shouldn't be too difficult at this place!Highly recommend it for the friendly and local feel plus food was excellent and consistent.

Travelled to sanctuary cove specially for lunch at Black Angus. Was not disappointed at all. Contemporary classical music (live) greeted us as we entered. A table on the balcony overlooking the marina was secured. The wine ordered and menus interrogated our food arrived on good time. Our steaks were perfect but the Ocean Platter our friends ordered was incredible. So much food and all of it good. Had such a great time here. Shame it is so far away from home in New Zealand to make this a regular stop over.

Lovely atmosphere, the woman who served us and we paid on the way out had the personality of a wet mop. Was really looking forward to going to a lovely vacinity with nice ambience and had a pub meal nicer and better service and of course far better priced. Expensive for something could pay $25 dollars for not $51. Your paying for location, sure as hell not quality or lovely service.

Great views , excellent service, food is Devine . We had the calamari which melted in your mouth and the salmon cooked to perfection.
