I had an excellent food here and ended up ordering more than I should have. Love especially the mushroom hot stone rice bowl, but others on the menu also as good. Highly recommended. View all feedback.

We stop for dinner the other night and the was a bad idea.... We should have know when the staff interest level was very low in serving us. They are trying to provide an Izakaya food experience, as a person who has lived in Japan they have no idea on what they are doing. View all feedback.

This is a cosy little place with friendly staff and good food right in the centre of Surfers. I was by myself so sat at the bar and had pleasant conversations with the girls serving. The age dashi tofu was silly and yummy and the chicken stone hot pot amazingCertainly recommend
We stopped by this restaurant for a quick meal on a Sunday night. The atmosphere was quiet, allowing for excellent service. Our waitress seemed to have some difficulty understanding our English, indicating that the staff were likely authentic Japanese. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. We ordered pork Gyoza, Mushroom Gyoza, the spicy chicken hot stone bowl, and Spicy chicken Okonomi-yaki. The waitress was attentive and the service was quick. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth a visit while in Surfers Paradise.
A group of us (16) and a bride-to-be arrived unannounced because our booked venue across the road wasn't what we expected. This quaint, narrow restaurant made up for the other places shortfalls. Our unexpected rowdy group was not a problem for the lovely waitress and the overwhelmed chef. If you blink you will miss it, it is small but this was my first experience with Asian food and I have no complaints. I am so glad we found it. The rest of the guests (mostly Irish) also had a night to remember.
