I remember when this little restaurant first opened on Chevron Island many years ago. I ate there many times and enjoyed their generous, good quality take-away. I loved this restaurant but when I moved away from Chevron I never seemed to make it back. Until recently. I'm delighted to say it's as good as ever. What Rico O'Hara doesn't like about Bangkok Thai Restaurant:
Ordered 4 curries and instead I got 4 soups, no thickness and terrible flavour. Have had massaman curry hundreds of times and this was the worst one ever, including the times I’ve cooked it. My dog didn’t even like it. Called to complain and all...they said was “that’s how it’s cooked now” here’s a photo of my beef soup. I mean curry. Avoid at all costs. Small little gem. Quality of the food was great. Place can get busy. Service is good. They do takeaway too
It was a nice place with traditional thai decor. The good was delicious with its generous portion....
My 17 year old son ordered takeaway from this place satay chicken, 10 minutes later his lips, tongue and eyes were swollen. We had to rush him hospital and had to have adrenaline pumped into him as the level of MSG was way to high. I felt my tongue tingling and stoped eating my fish. This place advertise healthy food well they should think about not adding hight levels of MSG!!!!!!
An excellent lunch menu.. Fresh, tasty and inexpensive. Food is served astonishingly quick and extremely tasty.. We will be going back again.
