Amphawa Thai Restaurant - Gold Coast

We come here regularly and the food and service are always fantastic. Friendly staff who serve authentically cooked dishes are what you get. We always see a few tables of Thai people in this restaurant which is testament to the quality of the food. Definitely the best Thai food we've had on the coast and we've been where many years.

Definitely great food at excellent prices. Highly recommend for family get togethers or just to catch up for lunch or dinner. The drunken noodles are my favourite and they taste delicious. The service was excellent and I love eating here

I come here for work lunch every now and then. Never disappoints and the lunch combos are great value. Highly recommend.

Thursday night, wife working late, not starving but needed something tasty - we tried Amphawa, as it was not far from home. The owner saw us to the table and briefed us on the menu and the rest-culture and we ordered the essential bottle of wine. Excellent wine and very well priced - good start!!I followed the Owner's advice and had a Massaman curry - outstanding! My beloved had a beef noodles and the son and heir had a duck curry whilst the daughter had a seafood curry. The meals were generous and very tasty. The Massaman was full of tender beef and the flavour was sensational.My wife was disappointed that despite the flavour, there was little meat. She advised the Owner when we asked for the bill. Not a complaint, just an observation, nonetheless, he insisted that we did not pay for the dish. That is really good service!! We'll be back again, but we won't be making any negative comments unless they are really necessary!!!Lovely people, lovely food, great evening.
