The steak snack I ordered was absolutely delicious. A bit uneven when everyone at the table got their food, but we were all supplied eventually. A bit expensive for pints, but as a resident of Bergen I am used to this. Also got a taste of the nacho dish they serve here. I don't know what they do, but it tasted incredibly good. Very nice surroundings here, and the crew is nice. A toast to them from me.

I discovered this restaurant 2 weeks ago and I 've been there twice bringing my Italian family during a trip in Norway. We felt welcome and the service was perfect and effective. The staff is speaking a very great English and they are really polite and kind. We tasted both times elgcarbonade served perfectly with lovely decorations, the tastes were perfectly balanced and the consistencies too. The restaurant inside is really lovely, good atmosphere.

Very expensive main courses! And not least close to NOK 100 for a pint?! It's robbery. Ended up ordering a pizza that was daff, and the burger for the kids was thawed patties from the store. Not homemade anyway.. Far too expensive to have a standard ala a roadside inn.
