Paula and her team did a... read more We visited Cafe Central recently with our party of 10 and enjoyed shared dishes of Feijoada Transmontana and Frango Cabridela Estufada. Paula and her team did an excellent job providing Portuguese goats cheese (made by her mother in the village), delicious salads, huge platters of typical Portuguese food to share, home made cake and fruit to follow with both the House Red White wine, all for just €15 per person. Stroll into the village and pop into Cafe Central and order a couple of shared dishes for a group Paula says group numbers between 5 and 15 are not a problem. It is necessary to pre order the day before but she has a printed menu card to select from. Paula is also happy to make dishes for different dietary requirements, simply ask she does and excellent Steak Chips and the Frango Piri Piri is very good. An easy stroll from our Villa, @ZororoRetreat good food and wine, all at a very reasonable price. A great way to spend an evening.
