Contribute FeedbackOK, so the EXCELLENT grade is a bit high, but. let me explain. Sunday; we went to eat from the hotel. Hotel nowhere. on the road to town. Restaurant. in the middle of a neighborhood of "single family houses;" by a small street. Not a place that tourists will find. (are there real tourists in Goettingen? -- just kidding ;.)-So, we go there, because reviews we find online say -- I go there for 40 years. (If this person is still alive, pace cannot be bad ;)-Place is filled with people who are friends of the main person -- is he an owner? No idea, but they all seem to know him. You know, they talk to him, clearly share things that are far beyond standard --> I like the food.Waitress appears immediately and -- in Italian time (if you know what I mean) -- this is like a lightning what is happening. We order, she comes with utensils, she comes with water, she comes with vine, she comes with appetizers. fast fast fast.....Food is good. Now, this is Italian food -- this is not some fusion food with liquid nitrogen treated parmiggiano. This is like in a road-side restaurant near Minturno in southern part of Italy. Basic ingredients put together to bring something good to your table.Here, when I say good, it is like homemade good. like you "get together with friends to have a meal" good. I hope you get my point...We finish with cassata and limoncello.I just wish they had Fernet Branca...And we understand why there are people who go there for 40 or so years...Overall, I hope you see why I gave it excellent grade, while the actual grate would be very good. I gave this grade for the "total experience" -- but, maybe, I was just in the mood for this type of food that evening we went there?GO and TRY -- and let us all know! I sincerely recommend it!
