Mister Donut - Godfrey

Excellent donuts. coffee service. I did not realize this Mister Donut is the only one left in the United States of America!!! They informed me Japan has many Mister Donut stores they get visited quiet often from people from Japan to have their picture taken with the current retired career Navy owner, Caesar Blanco. Thank you, Caesar, for your military service for taking on a new adventure of giving people happiness with making Donuts.

I'm a local and come to get donuts as often as I can. It is my FAVORITE donut place of all time for sure. Only because of the donuts, and Cesar (one of the owners). Just bought a dozen and a half donuts yesterday. They had an abundance of my favorite (vanilla angel)...so I excitedly bought 8 of those. Such disappointment.. whoever filled those donuts that morning did not do a good job. Hardly any filling in them what-so-ever. I will say the lady that waited on me was pleasant and friendly. Usually not the case, most of those ladies are lacking customer service.

Did you know that this is the last Mister Donut in the COUNTRY? We are truly lucky to have this little gem in our hometown. Everything is amazing that they make here, but you can't leave without trying the basic honey dip donut. The staff are always so sweet and the place reminds you of an old diner you would see in the movies. Grab some donuts to go, or stay and eat a full breakfast with the local folk.
