We spend the summers in the Goderich area, and always try to support local, in the months after being closed as most places were, only takeaway or delivery are available. We ordered a number of dishes as is our normal, enjoying the more authentic dishes as opposed to the usual chicken balls that most seem to order. We were more than pleased with our meal, although we ordered to pick up near their end of service, ever... View all feedback.
What OntarioTaffy doesn't like about Wing Hong Restaurant:
Great service at an O.K. Price, medium sized takeout was stacked. Started eating and realized not cooked enough and a total lack of taste. Ordered chicken noodles and was soooo looking forward to it after a long day of riding. After a 1/4 of it, in the bin it went. Shame, go elsewhere. View all feedback.
Friendly staff…food was excellent. Worth the drive from Bayfield.
Amazing food! It's quickly prepared, always fresh and delicious. The staff are so kind both on the phone and in person. My husband and have dietary restrictions and they are happy to accommodate. Highly recommend ?Vegetarian options: They are happy to add in tofu to the dishes !
False ad pic, no buffet only take out. This was a Thursday night that we were there but no buffet any night
Really good Chinese food there.Vegetarian options: What's great, can bundle things?
Henry was run off his feet, yet still very pleasant to deal with. We had dinner for 2B and the food... was mostly awful (probably the worst we've had, and we are in our 60s, so we have had plenty to compare it with) . The chowmein had no noodles. It was soupy with a few pieces of chicken and celery and a bunch of bean sprouts, and it had no flavor. The rice was just okay if you added soy sauce. The egg rolls were overcooked. The S S chicken balls were okay. It's the first time I have ever thrown out the leftover Chinese food. The 1 star I gave was for Henry, definitely not the food.
