I was really looking forward to ordering eggs benedict, but when it arrived, the eggs had hard yolks. When we brought this issue to the waitress, we were told that the chef couldn't guarantee soft yolks. This should have been stated on the menu or mentioned to customers before they placed their order. When we asked if the eggs could be remade with softer yolks, we were told that we would be charged extra. Terrible service! They couldn't even get the meal right that we ordered, and then expected us to pay for their mistake.

We were prepared with our second dose vaccine receipts and photo IDs, as required by the Ministry of Ontario Health. However, we were denied entry because we did not have an "impfpass" as requested by the staff. We had exactly what was needed according to the Ontario government guidelines. After trying to discuss the issue with the Bluewater Restaurant on Facebook messenger, we were asked to send photos of our documents, but then were told it must have been a mistake. When I finally had a chance to respond, I found that Neil, the owner, had blocked me from the restaurant's Facebook group and his personal page. Despite being a longtime supporter of his business and bringing in many customers over the years, our criticism of his policies and customer service led to this childish behavior. The food itself was not great, and overall our experience was disappointing. It's best to avoid this restaurant and find a better dining option.

Eggs and omelets were... read more We were in town for the weekend and found Bluewater Restaurant online. Amazing breakfast and very friendly staff! Everything was homemade. Eggs and omelets were amazing, as were the home fries. Our daughter had pancakes, which were some of the fluffiest pancakes we've ever had...(and with a touch of vanilla). We would definitely eat here again if in town.

The service was pr... read more I visited this restaurant for breakfast on a Sunday morning. It is a family-owned diner with old-fashioned decor, but the food was delicious. The service was prompt and the overall experience was satisfying. I will definitely return in the future!
