Today we ate here. Even though there were a lot of tables and everything was full, the staff made an effort to serve us and ask questions.

Four of us dined at UMI Papami. Although we arrived relatively early after visiting a Christmas market, the restaurant was already quite full. Choosing from the menu wasn't easy due to the extensive selection of Asian delicacies, but we ultimately succeeded. We chose coconut soup (exceptionally delicious), gyoza, ebi, and kimchi for our starters. Everything was equally delicious, but we were shocked by the enormous amount of kimchi. That was the only thing we didn't finish. Afterward, everyone chose from the large selection of sushi. It took a while for it to arrive, as sushi is labor-intensive, but it was more than worth the wait. The rice was good, generously filled, and the presentation was beautiful. The only downside to the platter on which the sushi was served was that the sauce dripped off easily, resulting in a dirty table and some stains on our clothes. A minor blemish on a delicious meal that we all thoroughly enjoyed. The sushi was clearly freshly made with high-quality ingredients and prepared with love. Unfortunately, due to the large portions, there wasn't room for dessert, so we skipped it. We paid almost €175.00 for a starter, sushi, and drinks (including non-alcoholic cocktails) for four people.
