The Den Deli Cafe - Gobles

Drove all the way here to find the place was closed at 8 AM on a Thursday. The hours online, posted on the door, and on their Facebook all said they were supposed to be open. No sign or online post to say that they’d be closed or open late. I don’t think it’s fair to give one star when I haven’t tried it, but it was a disappointment.

The sandwiches at this restaurant are expertly crafted and generously filled. I have enjoyed lunch here multiple times and have never been disappointed with a sandwich. Kelly and his team are attentive to detail and consistently friendly. The homemade side dishes are delicious, including options like deviled eggs, no-bake cookies, and cake. There is also typically a choice of cream cheese pie available. The interior of the restaurant is always clean. To accommodate my short lunch break, I usually call ahead to order my sub and it is always ready when I arrive. Getting a sub from The Den is definitely worth the time and effort.

I visited this restaurant almost every day last week after work. I believe the person I spoke with was the owner, although I didn't catch his name. He was incredibly friendly and we had a great conversation. Plus, the food they serve is absolutely delicious!!! I would rate my experience a 10/10.

Great food everytime. You pay for quality and the selection of sodas, lemonades and hopefully soon alcohol, which will make this place even better. Don't go to subway, come here and support local!!!
