Asia-Dao - Gmunden

After a break of two years, following a previously prior experience, we thought we would give this Chinese restaurant and other try. The two alternatives facing a diner are to choose "fresh" produce that is cooked to one's style, or the alternative is a Chinese Buffet. Certainly in our experience the friendliness and attention of the staff has improved, alas there is nothing further to complement or recommend this restaurant. Having lived for more than three years in Asia and sampled many Chinese restaurants in various countries, this comes almost to the bottom of the list. My impression is that possible problem lies in the freshness and suitability of the ingredients. For example the large king prawns were totally without taste, dry giving one the impression that they had been in deep freeze for a very long time. The same can be said for the crispy duck and the beef that required serrated teeth to pierce the muscle fibres. If however you are more interested in quantity than quality, then perhaps you will be more satisfied than we were. Based on this latest experience we would certainly never return to this Cooking Susi restaurant

The dao is very central in the lake and has many parking spaces at the local. there is a large dining garden and also in the local a lot of space.You can choose from buffet, mongolic or a la carte.We arrived late in the evening (21.30 a.m.) in the local and decided to fried noodles. these came quickly, were freshly prepared and really good. the noodles with shrimps (good gloomy garnels) around € 8.50 and a large beer around € 3.10 are really cheap. the service was very careful and friendly. for fans of Asian cuisine really recommend!

During my visit to the Asian restaurant dao, I knew there was no 2 times.The eating is "in order", the biggest problem of the restaurant is the service that calls itself sonja. sonja's lack of German knowledge is the least problem, I would say they amuse me. the nervest is their exaggerated intrusive art. for them there is no privacy.To remember a positive side of the restaurant: the toilets are very clean and still at the hygienic one in this restaurant!

Good day, sonja my name, I eat briefly in restaurant. eating nothing good but worse was personal. these have only asian waiters who do not speak good German, is laborious. personals were very intrusive and give false or nothing change. I don't know whether to come back there if situation doesn't improve.Good thing was nicely decorated scary

Simply super, huge selection of ready cooked buffet dishes, soups and desserts. There is also a wonderful large selection of fresh vegetables, meat and fish, which is freshly prepared for one after their own compilation.
