We were seated earlier than our reservations. Also, we were greeted by the chief and were offered two glasses of sparkling wine, that we accepted. After being seated at our table, the server greeted us with a smile and her service and menu (both wine and food) knowledge was outstanding. That said, we found nothing that will make us hesitate in making our decision to choose Dorthys for dinner again. View all feedback.
The place was recommended to us by a life long local and it was a good one. If for nothing else, go for the oysters, but we thought the smash burger was excellent. Our wait staff were excellent.
Dorothys was a beautiful and unique dining experience. The atmosphere and decor is gorgeous. The food was amazing and all of the guest in my party talked about the flavors the rest of the evening.
Wonderful food, well presented. We started with a Brussel Sprout salad which was light and tasty. Followed by a tasty and spicy octopus appetizer which was superb. Quite a delightful. My wife had Short Rib which she said was the best she had even eaten. I had the baked fish special,outstanding. Spicy with an East Asian feel. Having lived in the NYC area for 50 years I know great food and Dorothy's could compete with the best Can't wait to return!!
Expensive...$26.00 for the Ramen soup. Like all places they stick a tablet in front of you so you never rally get to check the bill... Our waiter Barnabas was excellent and attentive.
Stopped by for a drink and oysters tonig hug and loved this please !!! Will try to host our daughters after wedding party here , beautiful place !!
