Buck's is our preferred choice for takeout or delivery. They are always accurate with their estimated time and have reasonable prices. The quality is generally consistent, with occasionally a bit more crunch but still enjoyable crust. View all feedback.
What 1Mr M (2 1 year ago on Google doesn't like about Buck's Pizza:
I ordered an 8-slice pizza and a dozen wings. The total came out to $30 with tax, which was a bit surprising to me. I was expecting a decent-sized pizza, but it turned out to be only 10 inches and more like a personal size. The pizza was undercooked and very doughy, with canned mushrooms that were not cooked at all. It was a disappointment. The wings were good, but also on the smaller side. There are plenty of other... From here once ordered small pizza and luke warm wings for 30$ seemed to be a bit expensive. after eating 2 slices and a few wings had my wife and I the same thought. was it worth it? and honestly it wasn't that we could have gone to applebee for $30. the staff are friendly and they work really hard to stay in a pizza plentiful city at life. the people love these young, others don't buy again. I'm the leader.
The food taste very good, just over priced for there portions. I wasn't suspecting a personal pizza be the size of 90% other pizza places small.
Ordered an 8 cut pizza a dozen wings. Total came out to 30$ with tax, I was a bit surprised but expected a decent sized pizza.Pizza was 10” (like personal sized, so small was really undercooked, super doughy. Mushrooms were canned not at all cooked. Really disappointing. Wings were good but again, small.Plenty of other better pizza places in town, this food was just a huge disappointment.
When I moved back to the area, the only thing I was excited about in town was certain eateries and Al's was at the top of the list. I have fond memories of eating the Sicilian-style pizza as a child and then as an adult, out on my own before I moved away.Coming back at almost 50, I was just hoping the food would kind of be the same, but it was like a taste of childhood. The pizza is the best I've found in Gloversville and Al's is still Al's.Either you're a local and know the spot, have been told about the spot, or did a search online because they pizza shop itself has no sign to lead the way.Their bread is also phenomenal and exactly like my youth as well.Thank you for the trip down memory lane. Your pizza is still in my top three ever eaten! We'll be
Buck's is our go-to for either pick-up or delivery. They're always pretty tight on their time estimates and the prices are pretty decent. Quality is pretty consistent with an occasional extra crunch but livable crust.
