we recently visited gloucester after much debate about where we decided on sebz, a hidden gem hidden at the gloucester city center. the atmosphere was magical and the manager was very friendly, we enjoyed a healthy 12 dishes of tapas, which was the best food I ever tasted (especially the bark in pfeffersoße) and the manager still tried to feed us more! we will definitely return, thanks for a fantastic evening. We had a pleasant meal, but the menu choices were limited. Sadly we were the only group in the restaurant for the whole evening, so there was no atmosphere. The tables are too small when people have the tapas choice. View all feedback.

Amazing food. Best bit of pork I've had in my life. And the sagres beer is 10 out of 10. Relaxed atmosphere great staff. Great restaurant
My daughter and I visited this restaurant for the first time today (June 4th, 2016) and were absolutely delighted. It's a wonderful spot hidden away at the end of Northgate Street. The tapas selection is fantastic, with 22 different dishes to choose from...

This is hands down the best food I have had in a long time. The olives were outstanding - even my wife, who usually dislikes olives, loved them. The tapas were perfect and so was the service. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Mediterranean cuisine.
A visit to Seb’s after many years away. Sadly nowhere near as nice as our first. Perhaps unlucky as we arrived on a midweek evening when it was quiet. It was hard to find anything positive to say about any of our 6 tapas dishes. Awful overcooked prawns in a bowl of tepid, tasteless liquid. Mushrooms that tasted soapy, a paella with nothing in it, average overall just way way way below average. Even the glass of wine I ordered tasted odd. I am sure a one off as past reviews are very good but we sadly won’t be hurrying back despite the nice service.
I have been coming to Sebz once a week now for around 20 years. I am so familiar with the place that I have never bothered to write a review, but when I saw the one star review posted here a few days ago, I had to say something. The poster described Seb (the owner and sometime chef as being sexist and xenophobic. Whilst he could never be described as a ray of sunshine or a perfect optimist, I have never, in 20 years, heard that man make any such remarks. Further, he has never mentioned Indian immigrants or Brazilians in Portugal at all (and we have had weekly discussions about politics, Portugal, Madeira, the UK and the EU. I would also like to add that the food is delicious and the service excellent (often thanks to the lovely Eva. Just don't get him started about football...

The staff were very friendly and professional, service was excellent and quantity and quality was very good. Had the selection of 3 Tapas each and was good for lunch.

We had an absolutely delicious dinner made up of six different tapas. Very hard to say which one we preferred because each was so savory and good. The restaurant is bright and colorful and Eva our server was lovely, attentive and charming. We will return next time we are in Gloucester. Bonus points for being open on a Monday night!
It was nice but fount rushed with are food as starters hadn’t been cleaned yet and Mains arrived ……………..
What a lovely place! We were visiting gloucester and took a chance picking a place. Sebs is fantastic. The menu is pretty simple but the tapas all you can eat is great value. We chose 12 dishes and all were so tasty. Their meat is some of the best cooked meat I've eaten in years, especially the spare ribs. The meat just fell off the bone. Highly recommended!

Amazing place... an absolute gem. Staff are very polite and friendly, Eva and Marcio made us feel wonderful. Talking about the food... if i could give more stars, i would do it. Everything tasted heavenly
All round good. Tapas selection is broad, and simple pricing too. Tasty dishes and service friendly. It is a small restaurant and quite full of tables, so not very quiet. No bother for us, tapas is all about sharing and enjoying food and company.
Sebz is fantastic. We came here for lunch as we were passing through and we were not disappointed. The lady serving us was just lovely and the all you can eat tapas deal had us filled up! They are big portions for tapas and the calamari was just wonderful. We would definitely go here again.
Lovely service and top quality food. Made to feel very welcome and looked after very well. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be returning in future.
Ate at Sebz with my two youngest daughters, we were lucky enough to wander in without a booking. We chose to have a selection of tapas. Menu is extensive, food is amazing, service is great, staff are very friendly and helpful. 100% recommend and will certainly return
