Nick's Spaghetti Steak House

Overall I love Nick's it is a childhood memory and taste that I will never forget. I haven't had Nick's in 20 years. And stopped in on my way out of Gloucester to get a Greek burger and it didn't disappoint. It tasted like I remembered. Kid-friendliness: Friendly and warm family atmosphere. Nick's has been my husband's favorite restaurant forty years. We've seen many restaurants come and go. Nick's has sustained. Hubby always gets the medium steak. I like the jumbo butterfly shrimp, fried. I wish they would update their side salad. I'm not a fan of iceberg lettuce and one cherry tomato...really. Parking: Parking is never a problem. We use the driveway around the back if the building tgat takes you to the stoplight. Service: Dine in

My sister and I decided to go to Nicks for our birthday dinner. From the start we were meet by Katie (our sever) super nice and personable. Katie never stopped taking care of us while we were in the restaurant. I could see her looking at us and I’m sure other customers from across the room just making sure we didn’t need anything. Appetizers arrived quickly and they were delicious next up was chicken parm for me and steak for my sister. Both were cooked perfectly and did not disappointment. I had eagerly said I was going to finish my bowl and Katie had no problem keeping me motivated to do that. I was very happy with the food and especially the service. Katie did absolutely go above and beyond and you should consider yourself lucky if you get her as your server. Be sure to tell her I said hi and thank you. The price of our meal was very reasonable two dinner meals and an appetizer for right at $50.

THE RESTAURANT REALLY NEEDS TO BE UPGRADED. THE CARPET IS OLD AND MARKED WITH GREASE THE TABLES AND BOOTHS ARE OLD AND OUT OF DATE. THIS RESTAURANT COULD BE SO MUCH MORE.
