Although there was a table available plus all of the seats on the counter we were ordered to wait outside (at 50° F) until another table would be available.Grumpy lady did not understand that we are guests, not supplicants. I absolutely love taking the opportunity to have breakfast here. It's an authentic spot in the city of Gloucester—no frills, just the best breakfast around. They serve the best homemade hash I've ever had!
I wish I had this place in my town. Fresh food containing your own muffins and bread. We had Patty, who was unbelievable, fast, sassy, and she recommended a half part that was perfect. I had a fish cake Benedict, who was delicious, along with a zucchini muffin, that was great. Hot and delicious coffee, quick service, good food.
Geez, the worst experience ever had. We were in a rush and asked how long it would take before ordering and was told less than 5 minutes, with confidence. After 15 mins still not ready and checked with the lady. She said she had no control of the time. And pushed us to pay or leave. So we just left, and she was shouting behind us? What the?
Great food. Especially the bacon.
