Beautiful old-style restaurant and home dinner. Large staff

I ordered takeout today and the service was quick. I had the fish dinner, which included roasted catfish that tasted incredibly fresh and melted in my mouth. The dinner came with two large fillets. I also got a shrimp cocktail, which was decent—tender enough. In our opinion, the broccoli was perfectly steamed and well-seasoned. Some of our hush puppies got soggy from the green beans, but we had some fresh ones from the other meal.

This quaint little spot is a solid choice for breakfast. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Despite being understaffed, the service was attentive and prompt. The food arrived hot and quickly. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the hashbrowns were quite good. Overall, it's one of the top two or three breakfast places in the area.

This is a fantastic spot for outdoor drinks, but I feel the food quality has declined compared to what it used to be.
