Was Matt I at Crow's Nest a mag?
This was a wonderful find. I traveled to see my girlfriend and this place was recommended. The bar is a friendly experience with local natives. Also a drama free establishment. View all feedback.
What 3Leah K (3 1 year ago on Google dislikes about Crow's Nest:
I rented a room and was quite disappointed. It was small and had a musty odor, which unfortunately smelled like urine. Around midnight, someone mistakenly entered our room, claiming it was theirs, as the bartender had given them a key. The stairs are very steep, making it difficult if you have luggage. There is no parking available, only street parking. On a positive note, the bar was decent—a cool, local dive with a... View all feedback.

It's about a half-mile walk from the downtown parking lots, but the experience and history make it well worth the trek. Don't forget to take a look at the photo album featuring the history of "Perfect Storm" and scenes from the movie!
What a fantastic neighborhood bar! The atmosphere is always welcoming, and you can count on being treated like a regular, no matter how often you visit.
A cozy neighborhood bar perfect for enjoying a beer and a hotdog. It's relaxed and unpretentious—nothing too fancy.
My dad was a long-distance truck driver for Gleason, and he was based in Gloucester. This restaurant was one of his favorite spots, and he often talked about it. My brother, who has his CDL, was able to go on one of Dad's trips with him, while I only got to go on local trips. A couple of years ago, we took a road trip through New England and made sure to stop here so I could experience it for myself. I lost my dad in February of 1984, and it's still my greatest loss. I'll eventually share some pictures from our trip!
Our bartender was amazing. She was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
Nestled in a charming area, this restaurant-bar hybrid has garnered mixed reviews. While the bar offers a welcoming, local vibe with a solid selection of beers and engaging staff, guest experiences with the accommodations have been notably disappointing. Small, musty rooms with accessibility issues detract from the stay. Some patrons encountered difficult interactions with bartenders, which soured their experience, despite the bar’s overall inviting atmosphere. However, many appreciate its historical significance, particularly as a filming location for "The Perfect Storm," making it a worthwhile stop for those seeking authentic local culture alongside their drinks.

My travel companion and I had a fantastic experience. The rooms were spotless, and there was convenient street parking available. We also enjoyed the bar and found the staff to be excellent. I highly recommend it! The bar featured a digital jukebox, which I absolutely loved.
We have been visiting this place for our annual trip for the past few years, and I have no complaints about the rooms. However, our recent experiences at the bar have led us to decide not to return. Annemarie, the owner, is incredibly sweet, and I have nothing negative to say about her, which is why I hesitated to leave a review. Unfortunately, there's an older bartender with short blond hair, possibly named Ann, who has terrible people skills. I've never encountered someone so rude and combative for no apparent reason other than her obvious unhappiness. On the bright side, the other bartenders are friendly, especially Bob. But the next time we're in the area, I think we'll stay elsewhere and visit Pratty’s down the street instead. The staff at Pratty’s are fun and welcoming, plus there's plenty of off-street parking available.
A perfect combination! The bartender attempted to flirt with me, despite her crunchy teeth. I would definitely go back again! 10/10.
What a great little bar! The owner was very friendly and took the time to share his photo album and stories about his experiences with the cast of the movie "The Perfect Storm."

In my opinion, this place is definitely a dive bar. Although it's famous for being featured in The Perfect Storm, which made my visit thrilling, it still had that dive bar vibe. I ended up here during some kind of...
I decided to check out this bar because it's featured in the movie "Perfect Storm." It was amusing to see people enjoying drinks at noon, haha. But then again, this is Boston! I just walked inside...
