Gingerbread House Cafe - Glenwood

We caught English muffin and croissant breakfast sandwiches. They were both fantastic! They also have breakfast specialities daily, from biscuits and gravy to blueberry French toast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, why not enjoy it when you are in Glenwood. Thank you.

I'm not sure it was because I wasn't a local, but the service I received was very slow. It took about 10 minutes after I set myself to get a menu, then another 10 minutes for someone who takes my order. It took exactly 21 minutes until my food arrived after I had placed my order, and when my order was wrong. I sent it back and this time it came out in just 4-5 minutes. This café is a rustic LITTLE place in the middle of downtown Glenwood and it is packed with locals all day. Good food, slow service, but I would still go back for good food.

Nice old style breakfast restaurant, homestyle cooking, lots of good food and prices. Would recommend, make sure to get there before 12:30 to order.

I absolutely love corn beef hash and this place has by far the best corn beef hash I have ever had. The bacon was cooked perfectly the toast was spot on the eggs were cooked just right. Absolutely will be back.

Love this place! Used to go here with my Grandpa and Grandma. Straight forward good breakfast at a reasonable price!
