Delicious food, service was a little slow. And the outside seating was not like it used to be, a little disappointed. When I sit outside, I want the natural ambiance, not a plastic cover. View all feedback.
What Charles Bouy doesn't like about Amanda's Cantina And Fonda:
Tried smothered burrito. The thin chili was tasty, but completely saturated it to the point of turning into sticky, slimey dough. However, that being said, the entire meal tasted like re-fried beans! Hard to detect flavor of meat filling, it too tasted like re-fried beans. I tried the chimichanga hoping it was better, but it was ooverpowered by the taste of re-fried beans! If you want a better one, check out La Unica... View all feedback.
I really don't like sitting outside 99% of the time, but at this point there's no better place to be!
Great food the queso dip was excellent and service was prompt and friendly.

If you want a better one, check out La Unica just down the street. In addition, it is extremely difficult to enter if, like me, you are wheelchair bound! Not going back there. Wheelchair accessibility: VERY difficult to enter restaurant due to boards on the floor in front of doors. Bumpy, tight and ouchy!
Service was great and we were seated promptly. We did not find the food flavorful at all. It was not bad, just not what we were looking for. I would say if you are from a southern state, you may not like the food here.
Great food and quick service, also a pro that it’s close to manitou
