Sunday-No-Go! I just brought three sandwiches home. we like the fresh bread and fresh ingredients in the regular. Today they have failed on the brot with stale and crusty brot and the order has not read or ignored. we like sandwiches uncut, per guide, but they use the knife consistently to share its content with other sandwich orders. the best bet with the glenview shop is to stand in the line and monitor the sandwic... What User doesn't like about Jersey Mike's Subs:
This restaurant is awful! They constantly deceive their customers. Today was the worst experience yet. We had to wait a long time, over 15 minutes, for our food. They put cheese on every sandwich, even though we specifically requested no cheese on some. When we asked for speck on one sandwich, they charged us an extra two dollars. They failed to communicate clearly and made mistakes in our order. Perhaps they should... View all feedback.
I love this chain because they offer Gluten Free bread and use fresh ingredients. I have tried other Jersey Mike's locations in the northeast suburbs and, to be honest, their meats, cheese, and breads don't taste as good. I once visited one in Milwaukee, WI and they were serving wilted, brown lettuce, so it really depends on the location. The Illinois Willow Rd. location takes great pride in their store, treats customers well with no long waits, always serves super fresh ingredients (turkey, tuna, etc.), and piles everything high. The tables and chairs are thoroughly cleaned, creating a first-class dining experience. I have always been pleased with this group as they are very nice to customers and well-trained in handling gluten-free orders while maintaining a clean work area. If you're tired of eateries serving old ingredients, lacking cleanliness, and being unfriendly to customers, this place is not for you. It's the best spot in the north suburbs and I highly recommend it over any other place. I personally visit 2-3 times a month.
I arrived at the restaurant 30 minutes before closing and it was not busy. I ordered a large tuna sandwich and a veggie sandwich with double tomato. The server confirmed my order, ensuring that I wanted double tomato and not no tomato. However, when I got home, I realized that the veggie sandwich was missing tomato, onion, green peppers, pickles, and pepperoncini, essentially making it a $20 cheese and lettuce sandwich. The Willow location had already closed by the time we got home, so we had to share the tuna sandwich and didn't have any sides. Although the tuna sandwich had all the fixings, a quarter of it was missing the tuna. The quality of the ingredients we did receive was consistent with other locations, but we had to make an extra trip back to get the veggie sandwich remade. This resulted in wasted gas, time, and food. Mistakes happen, but with no sides and not during the lunch rush, this error seemed avoidable. I won't be returning to the Willow Creek location after I have the veggie sandwich remade.
This restaurant always delivers! The food is freshly cut and made to order every time. Don't forget to give their hot pepper spread a try.
First time at JM's I ordered Philly cheese steak sandwich and I have to say it was not good, it tasted like bad beef stu. Not a good recipe or something.
The best thing is the parm rosemary roll we requested for our subs. Ordered the Giant. They had plenty of ingredients, but I chose to add 1 or 2 additions to my Italian sub. It was DELICIOUS. A few more dollars but well worth it. Will do it again very soon.
