Was Dee at T & D Hot Bread a mag?
These guys make such a fresh Banh Mi roll and their 'David Rolls ' are addictive and amazingly cheap! The staff members are all family and they 're extremely friendly and accommodating. We always make regular trips to T and D 's! View all feedback.

Great bakery with a good variety of breads and sweets , they also make Vietnamese pork rolls fresh the best in Melbourne!!! ????

[Between 3.5 and 4 out of 5]Still out here in the North West - Really missing good Bahn Mi - Desperately needing a fix...Found T&D HOT BREAD Bakery, Pascoe Vale Road, Glenroy:Shop's just a shop..Sarah's a cute kid - Friendly and chatty, but super-efficient - She made those bahn-mi up nice and quick... And served other customers in between...Bought:2 x BBQ Pork Bahn Mi - Good.. Nice sauce..2 x BBQ Chicken Bahn Mi - Chicken didn't taste barbecued.. Not quite enough flavour, for me..2 x Crispy Pork Bahn Mi - Good, but I've had much better..10 x David Rolls - Ah, now these are what's INTERESTING...!!! Sarah's father David's creation - A cross between a crispy thin Baguette and a Croissant, but not heavy like Brioche - They're about a foot long; crispy crust; inside is soft, light and buttery: and they're slightly sweet - REALLY AND TRULY DELISH...!!! By the way, these are seriously cheap - $1 each..We've eaten half as they are - saved the others - wanna have them for breakfast tomorrow - warmed and slathered with my home-made apricot jam [made with organic apricots from the garden] 6 x Knot Rolls - No complaints..4 x Tiger Rolls - No complaints..2 x Jam Ball Doughnuts - Nice ones..2 x Fruit Danish - Bit disappointing - Needed custard, as well, really - Found them a little dry..Cost: $52 - Well, I've certainly got no complaints here...!!![She was very generous - wouldn't charge us for the 2 David Rolls we ate in the shop - said she thought we deserved to try]We'll be back...PS. 1. They only take cash.. 2. I always want chopped peanuts on my bahn mi, maybe that's why I didn't 'love' them, but Sarah's got a peanut allergy - Some-one else there can make them for you - I didn't bother - Was enjoying her company too much - Next time..Visited Wed 20 Jan 2016 for lunch and stuff to take home.

Delicious banh mi's One of the best on the Northside Grab a crispy pork or traditional ham! Their bread is also crunchy and fabulous.

I ordered the roast pork banh mi to-go and absolutely loved it. The restaurant can get busy during lunch hours, but they offer a great selection of banh mi sandwiches. I particularly enjoyed the crispy crackling in the sandwich, which added a nice crunch.

The staff is friendly, and the service is good. The banh mi is standard, and the coffee is also not bad.
