Subway - Glennallen

The restaurant was spotless and the staff was friendly. We ordered lunch for a tour the following day and they were very helpful by providing the condiments on the side to prevent the rolls from getting soggy.

Wow... just wow and in the worst way! I get it, it's Glennallen and probably not that easy to find good help but this was horrible. 2 young men working, one in the back and the other up front and he doesn't bother asking the kid in the back to come help, even though there were six people in line. We killed this kid with kindness and patience... the sandwiches were smaller than usual... not a 6 sub and just minuscule overall. When it was our turn, we order our two sandwiches and as he pulled them out of the toaster oven, he goes on to start the next... and the next... and the next! That nice warm, toasty sandwich was warm no more while we waiting for him to make 4 others behind us. After putting two slices of tomato on my sandwich, I asked for extra followed by asking for extra pickles. He rolled his eyes, let out a grumble and literally reached into the container grabbing an entire handful, I'd say a jars worth, slamming it down on my sandwich and somewhat tossing the whole thing off to the side into my husband's sandwich. It was shockingly weird and both my husband and our friend were in disbelief. I didn't bother asking for any sauce... who knows what would have happened with that request! The dining room and restrooms were clean, so I guess that was the best part. We won't be returning...

Soooo very thankful and happy to have a Subway in Glennallen. One more of the few choices we have. It recently opened two weeks ago. Staff is super helpful and kind. This subways is soooo Alaskan! It's a cozy looking cabin outside and a traditional Subway inside. There's enough parking space for customers. What a great little place for a road trip stop and what a great addition to us, the locals from the area. Keep it up Subway!

Fast, fresh and friendly. There's not many options in Glennallen and this is by far the most consistent.
