I had a great experience with the fast and friendly service. I ordered a fish frit, and after a long day of snowmobiling, I was starving. The portion was so generous that I could barely finish it. The coleslaw was delicious too, and there were so many French fries that I couldn't finish them all!
This time, the restaurant was quite busy, which may have affected the kitchen's performance. I started my meal with the stuffed pepper soup, which was pretty good and seemed homemade — always a plus. For my main course, I ordered the Chicken Allison but received duck instead. The grilled chicken was perfectly cooked and juicy, with a nice flavor profile. However, I wasn't a big fan of the sauce; it seemed a bit broken and had a rather salty taste. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the garlic pasta, which was cooked to perfection and generously infused with garlic. Unfortunately, the green beans were somewhat underwhelming and not very good.
The food was served incredibly quickly, and the crab cakes and wings were the best I’ve ever tasted. I would go to great lengths, even braving a blizzard, just for the chance to eat there again.
I've been here for years and it's never disappointed. Always a good meal and fun atmosphere. It is one of my favorite stops on the snowmobile or ATV to make.
