Known for their award winning ice creams, the difference is their use of fresh cream and the absence of artificial flavours or colours. To complement their ice creams, they have freshly made waffle cones, as well as sundae baskets, waffles, ice cream cakes and milkshakes. View all feedback.
What Dragomira Bojčić doesn't like about Andersen's of Denmark Ice Cream:
hubby really wanted an ice cream and that was the first ice cream place we went past during our visit to glenelg. there was no one but us, so I really thought about it. I had the white chic and the heavenly and nabeby had cookies and cream. There was a sign that they made fresh waffels daily. Hubby really wanted an Ice Cream and this was the first Ice Cream place we walked past during our visit to Glenelg. There was no one there except us so I really should have thought about it. I had the white choc and raspberry and hubby had cookies and cream .... there was a sign that they made fresh waffle cones daily .... I am pretty sure that those cones were weeks old and not even sure if made in store, they tasted stale, the ice cream itself also tasted off, I thought it was the flavour at first but then I tried the other one and it also tasted off. I then remembered that the fridge was kind of not working properly and a lot of water condensation was on the front of the display and it was hard to read the ice cream flavours ... Walked past plenty ice cream places after that and they looked wayyy better!
Went back recently and it seems to have gone downhill. The ice cream was very icy and the Danish Nougat which used to be so delicious didn't taste anything like it used to. In fact, it didn't taste like nougat at all so it looks like I'll be on the hunt for another ice cream joint in Glenelg.
Hubby really wanted an ice cream and that was the first ice cream place we went past during our visit to glenelg. There was no one except us, so I really thought about it. I had the white chic and celestial and nabeby had cookies and cream. There was a sign that they made fresh waffels daily. / I am quite sure that these cone were weeks old and not even sure whether made in business, they tasted stale, the ice itself also tasted, I thought it was the taste at first place, but then I tried the other and also tasted it. I then remembered that the refrigerator somehow didn't work properly and a quantity of water condensation was on the front of the display and it was hard to read the ice cream. Walked at many ice places afterwards and she looked much better!

It is nice to see that a familiar ice cream Andersons was a favorite, as I was a child my mother would always be the chocolate dipped cone with boysenberry icecream.
