What User doesn't like about The Dining Room At Salishan Presents Harvest:
We thoroughly enjoyed our two dinners at Salishan. The overall experience, including the service, food, and atmosphere, was excellent. On the first night, the restaurant wasn’t very crowded, but by the second night it was full. Despite the increase in guests, they maintained the same level of service as on the first night. While the menu selection wasn’t extensive, there was something to suit everyone’s taste. View all feedback.
Best restaurant we’ve been so far in Oregon. Great service and all the entrees we ordered are delish especially the lambs and steak. The bread, butter and teas in house were superb as well. We had truffles treats that we all enjoyed.
Extremely over priced, mediocre food. We felt like we were bamboozled...
We very much enjoyed our two evening meals at the Salishan. The entire event (service, food, atmosphere) was very good. The first night there were not many guests but the 2nd night filled up but they still provided the same type of service as the first night. Not a large selection but something for everyone.
The wine list is way over priced. The food was mediocre at best and served tepid. The service was slow and unprofessional. We ate on Christmas Eve. If they were not able to staff the restaurant adequately, they should have not been open.
This dining room is timeless. Beautiful setting, warm, inviting and serene. That said, the food is marginal and doesn’t keep up with the environment. The hazelnuts in our salad were rancid and both our dinners were served lukewarm. The flavor on the lamb was excellent though. Next night we went to Kyllo’s, while their menu isn’t as sophisticated, it was all delicious and served hot. Salishan perhaps should get back to basics with their food and focus on good quality served hot, as opposed to a more sophisticated menu that isn’t executed overly well. We were glad the dining room is back open though!
