Sevan Rotisserie Chicken - Glendale
Sevan Rotisserie Chicken
Description
At this local eatery, experiences vary dramatically. While some patrons rave about the juicy chicken, delightful kebabs, and fresh ingredients, others lament subpar food quality, unsanitary conditions, and inattentive service. Complaints about moldy bread and hidden fees spoil the overall enjoyment, leading some to question how the restaurant remains in operation. Despite the nostalgic warmth from loyal customers who fondly remember their childhood visits, the inconsistency in food and service raises concerns. For those seeking quality and cleanliness, it may be wise to explore alternative dining options that provide a more satisfying gastronomic experience.

I love this little place and wish there was one in Pasadena! (There used to be one). My faves are the chicken and lula kebab. Request juicy. Food is fresh and delicious. Fluffy rice and good hummus. The staff is friendly. Highly recommend!
Firstly, I was served moldy pita bread with green mold on it. When I brought this to their attention, they simply stated that they purchased the bread from another company, deflecting responsibility. This lack of quality control is not acceptable for a professional establishment. Additionally, I was overcharged at the cash register without explanation. After questioning this, they mentioned a credit card fee which was not initially disclosed. There were also flies inside the restaurant, which was not pleasant. I ordered the half chicken with hummus and eggplant dip. The chicken was satisfactory, but the sides were bland and lacking in flavor. Overall, I would advise choosing to support other businesses that prioritize their craft, honesty, cleanliness, and customer service.
The specials at this restaurant are delicious and well-priced. The chicken and sides are all tasty, especially the rice and hummus. Overall, the food deserves a rating of 5 out of 5.
Lunch special is a great deal for chicken and two sides.. my go-to spot in Glendale for rotisserie chicken
They should make this place the Eighth Wonders of the World for being in an Armenian community and serving the most disgusting kababs I have ever tasted in the history of my culture and stay in business for a decade! The most disgusting, unflavored kabab ever touched my tastebuds. Unbelievably shocked that my trash can ate it all!
