We went to celebrate my friend's bday on Halloween weekend. We had a great time, the severs were dressed up adding to the fun vives. The food was good, a bit better than ok, but not the most delicious I have had, I think the service was missing thepunch, Peruvian ceviche can be delicious, the one I had was just ok. I also tried the Lomo slatado, it was good too. The servicewas lacking, we all got our meals at different times. Overall, I will give it another try.
I just got my pick up order today from here and I paid 50 dollars for two lomo saltado. I asked for rice plates and I got pasta. I paid four additional dollars for beef and I got barely like five small pieces. This place is not worth it. Don’t go here, they’re ripping you off
Unfortunately, this time was not a great experience. I'm afraid there is lack of consistency. We ordered a Chilcano de maracuya (peruvian passion fruit), ceviche mixto, chicharrón de pollo, and Lomo saltado. The only one that was very good wasthe drink, Chilcano de maracuya. All the plates were not well seasoned. The ceviche was a very small portion and needed salt, the chicharrón de pollo had no much flavor, and the Lomo saltado needed salt and more of the juices (gravy). Very dissapointedbecause the bill was over one hundred dollars.
I was on a diet when my friends chose to go to Lola's for Peruvian food. Despite my commitment, I opted for the seafood lomo saltado, which wasn't the wisest choice due to its carb content. I convinced myself I would only eat half of the rice. However, thirty minutes later, I found my plate completely empty except for a bit of the lomo saltado sauce. While I felt a bit disappointed in myself for finishing everything, the dish was so delicious that I would happily order another serving of this amazing combination of seafood, rice, and fries. We arrived just before lunch, so the place was almost empty, but the service was great. Plus, there’s a public parking garage across the street that offers 90 minutes of free parking, which is more than enough time for a meal and even some dessert.
Food was so so, took a long time, served cold, no bread (waitress said they ran out last night) Service was less than mediocre. Server came to our table took order, served beverages and only showed up to bring our cold food. At the end another server was a bit more attentive. The others were in the back apparently cleaning things rather that serving. Will not come again.
