I had been to this spot a few years back when they were still called Small Town Coffeehouse, and I hadn't been overly impressed at the time. I decided to give them another try after the name change and menu refresh, and I'm happy I did! What Half Life 3 doesn't like about Gold Brew Coffee:
Took about a minute to realize if the employee actually worked there based on the complete lack of interest in their job. Total was $6.71 and I gave them a 10 dollar bill in which they held up to the light to make sure it was real which was insulting and foolish. I'm still laughing about it. Great local coffee business. Organic. Very welcoming environment. Great for meet ups, work, connection. Friendly staff. Supports other local goods via baked goods offerings, drinks, locally roasted beans.
These people know coffee. Possibly the most flavorful and lovely espresso there is. Killer staff , great beans. Neat spot. Go check it out if you like coffee, not just sugar milk and black liquid lol
