However, we didn't have anyone check on us to see if everything was okay or if we were satisfied with our food. Additionally, we weren't asked if we wanted refills until after I requested the bill. By then, I was already thinking about leaving, so I didn't feel inclined to order another glass of Coke.
On the plus side, the prices were reasonable given the quality of the food. Overall, the restaurant had a nice atmo... View all feedback.
What Alice Y doesn't like about Crazy Rock'n Sushi Glendale:
It's on the pricey side, but the sushi rolls are of excellent quality. My boyfriend and I visited late on a Saturday night around 8:30 pm and only had to wait about 15 minutes. Our server was really friendly. We tried the Eel Sushi ($6.95 for 2 pieces), which was standard but tasty. The Fire in the Roll ($17.50 for 8 pieces) was a standout—an imitation crab roll topped with tuna sashimi, spicy tuna, yuzu, and jalapeñ... View all feedback.
Go to sushi spot in Glendale. service is amazing, sushi is good, prices are good. Sake is a bit overpriced but still worth it.
LOVED this place (past tense) always went here with my family... we've been going here for years! through different management lol.today was my mom's birthday my aunt made a reservation for 6pm. i arrived around 5:55 because i wanted to set up balloons a cake before everybody else arrived but nobody paid attention to me. the people at the front asked what i was waiting for i told them about the 6pm reservation. a guy said our table wasn't ready yet. i waited a while and the people at the front just stared at me... i finally asked if our table was ready... it had been 6:20 at this point... the lady finally walked us to our table and then said that it was still being cleaned... then said my entire party had to be here... huh? regardless of if our entire party was present or not, we reserved for 6pm... why isn't there a table ready?the lady was then rude told me that my entire party needs to arrive sooner because there's another reservation at 8pm... why is that my business? don't you have other tables they can sit at? so unprofessional...they rushed us to order then rushed us and started cleaning away the entire table when we weren't evendone yet... gave us boxes and basically started kicking us out... so rude... i miss the old manager/owner... she was much more personable took time to talk to my family too! new management seems so unprofessional only cares about making money not giving good service or experience... unfortunate.
Amongst the crazy chaos, in the heart of Glendale is Crazy Rock'N Sushi. The entrance is big and spacious. The decor gives you a vintage Japanese vibe, from the large moon to the little sake cups. We were greeted quickly and sat within 5 mins. We started w our basic sake bombs which were well priced. Sake was of great quailty and the beer was cold. We started w cucumber and seaweed salad, fried baby octopus and garlic edamame. The seaweed salad was fresh and tasty. The garlic edamame which is one of their best sellers. My goodness! They were delicious! A little heat but subtle and great garlic umami flavor. Literally the best garlic edamame I have had. The octopus were crispy. I wasn't a fan of the creamy sauce that came with them. I would of preferred a fresh lemony flavor. They have a BOGO for special rolls. We did the Glendale roll and the Sapporo roll. I felt like the Glendale roll was missing some flavor in sauce but fresh and filling. The Sapporo roll was a favorite granted it kept falling apart) it was so delicious, creamy and flavorful w the spicy mayo. We also ordered the bento 3 items $18.95) we chose the chicken katsu, sesame chicken and a California roll. The California roll was surprisingly good for a basic roll. My bf enjoyed the chicken katsu and sesame chicken. They both crispy cooled to perfection. The sauces paired were delicious and on par. Presentation is simple but classy. Service is awesome! They are attentive and consistent. They have a great selection of rolls and sashimi which we did not try this visit. I hope to return and cover there sashimi and sushi in the future. The food looked so delicious when it came and I forgot to take pictures .
This was a new sushi spot I tried I loved the decor and ambiance.Food: 4/5
I recommended the sushi 100%. The staff and the customer service was also amazing. The portions are great size and it is a great value for the taste of the sushi. All the rolls are fresh and the spaghetti cook deliciously.
