Description

Tucked in a Vons plaza in La Crescenta, this neighborhood boba-and-snack spot serves standout chewy boba, creamy matcha snow, light tempura-style fried munchies and hearty bulgogi plates — though portions and spice vary. Highlights include sizeable, cold pearls, crispy chicken and savory potstickers; kiosk ordering and easy parking make it convenient. Caveats: service can be slow, sweetness and tea strength inconsistent, and some snack flavors are hit-or-miss. New ownership may explain uneven quality, but it remains a handy stop for post-hike cravings.

I am glad it was open today, and this was my first time. The menu was a little hard to read/understand, but I ordered what I always chose so that I could compare it. I didn't choose the sweetness, so I assumed it was 100%, but I was sucking on green tea flavor ice. It was very watered down, even though I ordered smoothie.

Kids really enjoy coming here for Boba. They also offer a variety of food options. The chicken bites are delicious. Food rating: 5/5.

It seems that the restaurant has either changed owners or has new management. I'm quite disappointed with both the service and the quality of the drinks. The service is really slow; I had to wait 40 minutes for my order. Additionally, the texture of the boba is inconsistent. I won’t be returning.

Mediocre but will satisfy your craving. Stopped here after a hike for a snack, it's in the Vons lot next to a bank a tutoring center. Parking is easy, you walk in order at the kiosk. The jasmine tea had good flavor but it was too watery I also thought the boba was too hard and didn't taste like much. The crispy chicken was ok, pretty small portion even though I got extra spicy it wasn't spicy at all, it was a little bland. My bubbly boyfriend got the brown sugar milk tea liked it more than mine, so maybe opt for that. Also got the potstickers which were also ok, about 6 pieces of fried pork cabbage pot sticks with spicy seasoning. Overall everything was tasty but could have been better.
