What User dislikes about Johnnie Fox's:
Lovely pub. First time back in years. Food was nice. Service was OK. Not great. Asked for baby bowls. Was not suitable to or year old at all. All cutlery, food and drinks including hot coffees were all left on the table in front of the babies, where they could grab it. Attention to this is very important. View all feedback.

Johnnie Fox’s is always a good idea! Went with friends after a hike and the food was very good. We shared the ‘Fresh seasonal oysters’ and the ‘Sizzling skillet of prawns’. Both were fresh and delicious. For mains we got the ‘Battered fish and chips’, the ‘Roast chicken supreme’ and the ‘Fox’s seafood pie’. Mains were not as good as the starters but portion sizes are good and we enjoyed the meal!

We visited here last night. Coach was on time and driver was fab although the poor guy was given some grief by people who missed the bus their own fault) Served by Holly, very attentive. The food was amazing and was left needing rolling to bed! I had pate, lamb shank and apple pie. My partner had seafood chowder to die for) beef and Guinness pie and whisky sponge. All the staff were friendly and the musicians are totally amazing and personable. Would definitely recommend 5 stars

It is probably one of the most touristy spots you can visit. However it did manage to keep the atmosphere of the local pub. There are a lot of fascinating press cutting and pictures with famous people that have visited this place. From Lady Diana to Obama 's. So I do recommend to walk around and read some of it. Food on the other hand is absolutely high standard, very fresh and tasty. Beautifully served by excellent attending staff and you don 't have to wait long for it. Best part, prices aren 't too much different from the other pubs in town. Sea food chowder is a must to try and the mussels are totally amazing . From mains, I really loved the Lamb Shank (you need to love this sort of meat) and a wild deer. It was delicious . Toilets are clean and accessible. There is a car park directly beside the pub or an overflow which is like 2-3 mins walk. Definitely a place worth visiting. Just while driving, be careful as the road up and down can be busy and it is a narrow one.

My girlfriend and I ended our 8 day Ireland vacation with this absolutely amazing show and dinner. The food was outstanding, the music was top notch and the dancing (especially the little guy) was as good as it gets. I see why this place is so highly rated. We had an AMAZING time. If you are looking to take on an authentic, fully Irish experience, then this is one for the books. GREAT EXPERIENCE!

This bar is very famous and has a lot of history. it's an honor to have the opportunity to experienc. The house is a very old building. all the decoration, decoration, or those old objects on the wall and various newspapers and photos that have told us its past. we are full of unlimited love and respect to this restaurant. divided into several areas that each is unique, in the style of a unified wooden structure and white mud walls decorated with different tables and chairs. The food, the venison cooked exceptionally well, the seabass was fresh and especially the sauce was just so good, the taste was endless.
