It was ok. The reviews made me very excited for what I thought would've been great takeout sushi and I was terribly disappointed. The sushi for two had such a small variety of fish. It was just white fish, tuna and 6 pieces of salmon. All the other 3 fishes were 3pcs each and I really don't know why we needed double the salmon? The rice was also undercooked and hard. And hard rice is a hard* NO in my books for sushi.... View all feedback.
A very attentive waitress took our brown bagged sake to be heated, while a pot of delicious flowery tea helped warm us up on the cold, wet December night. We started with a generous portion of miso soup and seaweed salad dressed with sesame seeds. The menu had everything we could have wanted - raw fish, tempura, you name it. Surprisingly, our main courses arrived quickly, almost too quickly (or maybe it was the warm sake speeding up time). The sushi and sashimi assortment was so visually stunning that I couldn't resist snapping some photos before diving in with chopsticks. The artful presentation only added to the aroma and textures of the fresh fish. The crispy fried tempura was another explosion of taste and texture, with a wide variety of options. We couldn't resist trying the beautifully plated dragon roll with a purple orchid, and it did not disappoint. For dessert, we ordered green tea ice cream and green tea mochi, which were both a homerun. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back when we return home.

Sofia and her family have the best Asian cuisine around. The whole family works there and it is always of the best quality.
I have been frequenting this restaurant for approximately 5 years and have also dined at various upscale sushi establishments in New Jersey, New York City, and Florida. As a sushi enthusiast, I can confidently say that this is the top spot for me. The consistent level of quality never fails to impress me, and even my friends enjoy joining me here. The staff is friendly and often provide complimentary treats, making it my go-to sushi destination. While all dishes are delicious, my personal favorite is the PINK LADY sushi.
