What User doesn't like about Santoor Indian:
When we arrived (a party of five) we were the only customers in the place and yet had difficulty getting the attention of the staff that was congregated around the front of house bar. When we finally were seated, we were not given menus and then were again ignored for 10 minutes or so. A waiter finally arrived and took drink orders from some of our party but then walked away to greet someone who entered the restauran... View all feedback.
There’s no denying the food here is tasty. Safe yourself the time and get take out. The service is absolutely terrible here. I waited over 30 minutes for my ONE appetizer. After another 20 minutes the waitress proceeds to ask me, “if I wanted the rest of my order?” After a little over an hour, watching larger parties come in, getting there food and leaving. A gentleman from the restaurant acknowledged there poor service and offered to give us our mango lassis free. (Which was very kind). Though when given my food, that I then asked to be ‘to-go’, he proceeded to almost follow me and my plus one, out the door ASKING FOR A TIP. Truly pathetic. Might I add that they forgot half my order in the ‘to-go’ bag. Save yourself the hassle and time and just go to Southern Spice, it’s a couple minutes away and more than worth it! Food was decent for the buffet price of $20. Wish there was more variety in the sauces. The service wasn't good, I understand it's a buffet service but it was difficult to get water and even pay for our meal which we had to get up and do it ourselves, not sure why there was servers to begin with.
We had a delicious meal at Santoor tonight! The food was fresh and flavorful and the staff was very friendly and attentive! Shout out to Shervani (hope I spelled that right) for making sure my dish was not too Spicy! I Highly recommend this restaurant.
To Owner- You raised prices for buffet and serving “Delhi Butter” chicken with bones. Why not bring back the original butter chicken? After all, kids love butter chicken and not a fan of bones. You are losing customers! How much extra boneless chicken cost anyway?
Dined in on a Saturday night during which there was a very loud party on the sub level and a green card private party on the other side of the dining room. The service was very slow and our attendant kept walking away, even while we were speaking mid-sentence. Despite taking our order down on a tablet, we did not receive all the entrées we ordered. The hara bhara kebab was unlike any I 've tried--it was just battered and deep fried potato without a trace of spinach or peas as was described. My vegetable biryani was 90% rice with a smattering of a few overcooked vegetables. All in all it was a disappointing experience but I may give this place another try as they offer a couple of specialties not commonly seen such as miloni tarkari and bagara baingan.
